Hard Mode badges
Equip Hard Mode for the relevant chapter bosses: Bloxxer, Dangerous Living, Monster Hunter, Blood Red Sun and Usurper correspond to Chapters 1 through 5. Check which encounter is missing; finishing only the final boss is not the stated condition.
Collectible badges
BUX collection thresholds include Wealthy at 10, Big Bux at 20, Mega Bux at 30, Giga Bux at 40 and Ultra Bux at 50. BUX is found in the overworld, so repeated enemy battles do not progress those pickups.
