Chapter 2 · Encounter guide

How to Beat Griefer in Block Tales

Read Griefer’s weapon before copying an attack pattern. The first crowbar encounter has 24 base HP; the later Venomshank version has 40. Bubonic Plant is a separate transformed moveset.

Crowbar timing

Crowbar Slam uses a jump and side flip before the impact. Crowbar Smack has a fast first hit, then a pause before the sideways second swing. Do not use the same two evenly spaced inputs for both attacks.

Chargeup changes the next threat

Griefer Chargeup is the two-arm wave and Charged state. Prepare for the stronger follow-up instead of spending that action as though it were an ordinary attack gap. Watch the higher leap of Super Crowbar Slam.

The Venomshank fight is not the street fight

The later encounter retains crowbar moves but adds Venom Slice and Venom Spin. Both human forms have 1 DEF. A setup that depends on the first encounter’s HP or lack of Venomshank moves will misread the later fight.

After the transformation, switch to the Bubonic Plant guide for Burn weakness, Poison immunity and Plant Rush. Do not carry a Poison damage plan into that form just because it worked on Griefer.
