Block Tales Rugged Rainforest: Iron Sword and Detours

If thick grass blocks the route after Griefer, recover the Iron Sword from Bigfoot. Hit the Mango Tree to begin that fight; the sword opens the onward path and the optional mosquito detour.

Rubble and grass need different tools

Griefer’s rubble obstruction is a Dynamite gate. The later thick grass needs the Iron Sword. More Bomb items will not replace the missing sword upgrade.

After the first Griefer fight

The first encounter is in Rugged Rainforest [12]. The route branches toward Mango Tree and Sacred Pathway, with thick grass gating progress. Follow the Iron Sword story and confront Bigfoot at the tree before returning to that vegetation.

Later return: Cookbook

The Cookbook route uses the Bottled Ship in Rainforest [6]. Because the ship is a Chapter 4 reward, this is a return trip, not a required first Chapter 2 collection.

Optional boss

Cut the grass near either Fire Ant Hill entrance to reach Supreme Mosquito. Finish that detour for Investor if desired, or continue the main Venomshank route.

Read Griefer’s weapon before copying an attack pattern. The first crowbar encounter has 24 base HP; the later Venomshank version has 40. Bubonic Plant is a separate transformed moveset.
Supreme Mosquito
Bring an attack that can target Flying enemies and watch both loops of Double Pierce. Enter Mosquito Nest by cutting the thick grass near either end of Fire Ant Hill with the Iron Sword.
